We have plans to reconstruct Highland Dr (a major road), but not include these features.
Question
General comment... we seem to have a lot of focus on roadway improvements. Each policy comes with cost implications. Are we committing to too much?
Comment
remove "streetcar/light rail". Just not realistic.
Comment
We would not do a curb extension using paint and delineators. They don't provide an aesthetic appeal, allow for snow plowing/ street sweeping, and require regular maintenance. We would construct with concrete, which may not be a "quick-build".
Comment
We would not do a demonstration project. Bike lane principles and results can be predicted without such demonstrations.
Comment
This includes areas outside our municipal boundary.
Comment
a moratorium already exists. 3-yrs.
Question
Should we add a policy about bus stops?
Technical Edit
We have many street sections for different areas of the city. For example, we have no intention of turning 6200 S into a Complete Street.
Comment
capitalize "Schools" it is part of the program name
Technical Edit
Directional curb ramps are not practical for local residential streets. They are generally only used on collector and arterial streets. The intent is to shorten the crossing distance in heavy traffic.
Technical Edit
accessible signals generally include audio chirping. We only have these on a few signals and only intend to expand these to other signals upon request (usually from a blind person).

Technical Edit
change to "include bike lanes or active transportation pathways and sidewalks.
We generally don't add traffic calming measures on streets that would be built out as a Complete Street.
Technical Edit
remove "wider"
Technical Edit
We have identified high priority sidewalks, but I don't know where the high priority corridors are identified.
Technical Edit

Technical Edit
The roadway classification for Murray Holladay east of Holladay Blvd needs to be reviewed.
Technical Edit
The thick green municipal boundary hides the street classification. Send the layer to the back.
Technical Edit
Highland from Van Winkle to Arbor Ln is planned at 80-ft. Change to Minor Arterial.
Technical Edit
Wasatch is 80-ft, should it be a Minor Arterial?
Technical Edit
Remove the bridge symbol. They are not shown on the map.
Technical Edit
The streetlights clutter the map. Remove or put them on a different figure.
